Simple seasonal ingredients form a fast main dish. Recipe provided by the Beef Checkoff program.

1 lb. 80% lean ground beef
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 c. chopped fresh tomatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 c. uncooked bow tie pasta
2 T. sliced fresh basil
3 T. grated Parmesan cheese

In a large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef and garlic over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking up into crumbles. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions. Toss beef mixture and basil with pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
