Combine in crockpot
1 package of Callicrate Beef short ribs (contains 3 ribs) with
1 medium sweet white onion, quartered
2 red beets, halved or quartered
3-4 yellow carrots, roots and tops removed
1-2 new potatoes, halved or quartered

Make barbecue sauce by combining in a bowl:
1 pint of strawberries (or blackberries), mashed
1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
1/2 c. Zuberfizz root beer (available at Ranch Foods Direct)
1/2 c. prepared ketchup
1/8 c. brown sugar
a shot or two of soy sauce
1/8 c. balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. smoked black pepper
1/2 tsp. sea salt

Mix thoroughly and pour over the ribs. Sprinkle with fresh snipped rosemary. Cook on low for 8 hours.
