RECENT DISCOVERY: “I’ve really been turned on to cooking lamb in the crockpot, the same way you would a pot roast. It comes out very tender and there’s that great broth for gravy. It’s tricky to get the right doneness when you roast a leg of lamb in the oven. Instead, just put it in the crockpot, add some wine and some broth if you want, and it comes out more tender and juicy that way.”
